Barbara Anne (Dagen) Beagle

Barbara Anne Beagle, age 84, of Linesville passed away at Rolling Fields Nursing Home on December 4th 2020.

She was born in Rochester, Pa on February 15, 1936, a daughter of Harry and Grace Dagen. She married Bernard Beagle in September of 1956. He survives.

Barb retired from the Conneaut School District as part of the support staff. Barb was first and foremost a homemaker. She was known by her family and friends as the best cookie and pie maker and a fantastic cook. She could always be found in the kitchen baking and cooking.

Barb was an avid reader and traded books between her daughters and sister. She loved watching old cowboy movies and musicals. One of the things that Barb did and most people didn't know that she was an awesome whistler. She could whistle any tune you asked her to. She taught her bird Sonny different whistle calls.

Survivors in addition to her husband include three daughters. Glenda Waring and Brenda (Tim) McQuiston of Linesville, Patty (Lonnie) Corey of Zanesville Ohio, one son Bernie (Kathy) Beagle of Pflugerville Texas, and one sister Ina Dagen of Conneaut Lake. Barb had six granddaughters, three grandsons, eleven great grandsons and eight great granddaughters. She was preceded in death by her parents, Grace and Harry Dagen II, one brother Harry Dagen III, a sister Jacqueline Teems, a grandson Joshua Blood, and a daughter Debbie Blood.

A private memorial will be held at the Royal-Coleman Funeral Home.
