Built in 1992 by local contractor, Robert N. Collins, the Harold W. Coleman Jr. Funeral Home was owned by Harold and Nancy Coleman of Harmonsburg. Harold compassionately served the families of our community until 2005, when Kevin and Rebecca Royal purchased the funeral home. Kevin Royal, funeral director and supervisor, is committed to providing families of our community with dignified, thoughtful, personalized, and compassionate services.
In June of 2006 the William H. Houghton Funeral Home, owned by Samuel J. Steff and previously by William H. Houghton, at 127 Conneaut Street in Linesville, combined with the Royal-Coleman Funeral Home. Families that previously had prearrangements with Houghton Funeral Home will now be served at our facility. The Houghton Funeral Home is now a private family residence.
